As part of For Freedom’s 50 State Initiative, students from three local universities offer up a response to Oscar Murillo’s recent exhibition (Cry of Victory and Short Walks to Freedom: Over you/you), and For Freedoms emphasis beyond the politics of the country, towards the politics and role of the artist.
Including works from the Expanded Artforms class in the department of Art and Design at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, undergraduate and graduate Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and Maryville University students. Curated by Michael Behle and Gina Grafos.
