The Oath of Inclusion is a student-led initiative that sets the expectation for all SLU students to promote inclusion on campus in order to form a diverse and vibrant university community. The exhibit is also a continuation of the gallery's 2018 university exhibits in response to Melissa Stern's "The Talking Cure," which debuted in January. "This is Our SLU" opens on Friday, September 7 with a special opening reception from 6-9 p.m. as part of the First Friday event in Grand Center and runs through October 6.
The featured artists are MFA and BFA candidates at SLU and were selected by faculty to present work from their studio classes including paintings, drawings, sculptures and mixed media pieces.
